Take part with a presentation, poster or workshop!

All those interested are welcome to submit proposals.

If you have a project, research study and/or good practice related to arts education that you would like to share—or if you wish to lead a practical workshop in an artistic area—don’t hesitate to send us your proposal.

  • Presentations, within our programme format, last either 15 or 20 minutes, depending on whether the session includes four or three speakers.The organization has a presentation template that can be downloaded HERE.
  • The workshops last 1.5 hours and are intended to be primarily practical and experimental. Equipment and materials may be requested from the organizers, and personal items/materials from the trainees, depending on the nature of the workshop. It is recomended that the workshop be repeated at two different times to accommodate two groups of participants.
  • Posters must follow the rules defined by the organization, as per the document available HERE.
  • All materials related to the proposals (presentations, posters, additional requests for materials or equipment, illustrative photographs, etc.) must be submitted to the email congresso.artes@edu.madeira.gov.pt.

Notes:

  • The submission of this proposal does not, in itself, guarantee its acceptance. All proposals will be subject to review by the organizing/scientific committee.
  • The acceptance notification will be communicated by 18 October 2026. For proposals with specific requirements regarding equipment, materials, or format, acceptance may remain “pending” until all details are confirmed with the organization.
  • The presentation of any accepted proposal is subject to registration in the congress and payment of the corresponding fee, to be completed by 31 October 2026.
  • Accepted abstracts will be published in the congress abstract book.
