Organized through various types of sessions, the current structure aims primarily to allow all interested participants to present their projects and research, promote broad debate on the themes chosen for the event, and encourage the sharing of experiences, methods, and projects among participants. It is frequently structured in a dual attendance format, in-person and remote, in which participants may choose one of the two registration modalities:

a) In-person, with access to the full program, across several venues that allow all activities to be carried out in the best possible way and according to their specific characteristics.

b) Remote, through a unified communication and collaboration platform, offering a more limited program with fewer experimental activities (workshops, edition fair, artistic moments).

Over three days, the event offers more than twenty workshops across various artistic and multimedia areas; conferences/keynotes delivered by renowned experts addressing the main themes selected for each edition of the congress; space for structured panels with open submissions for free communications; presentation of publications; and social activities including artistic moments, an edition fair, and the awarding of the Artistic Education Prize, which annually highlights an institution, school or project, and a teacher.

In summary, the International Congress on Artistic Education is organized in a way that allows participants to choose the registration method that best suits their situation:

• If they are in Madeira or able to travel here and wish to access the full and varied experience—both theoretical and practical—they should choose the in-person format.

• If they are outside Madeira, they may opt for the remote format, which provides access to an adapted program that is more theoretical and less experimental.
